Last sunday in parish of Birth of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Choszczno, took place virtual pipe organ concert played by young artist Michał Jung.
This 26 year old virtuoso was taught by finest polish organ teachers like prof.Jarosław Malanowicz or prof.Józef Serafin. He was mastering his art in Fryderyk Chopin University of Music and Musicology Institute in John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin. Performance in Choszczno contained musicial compositions of famous artist like Jan Sebastian Bach, Dietrich Buxtehude or Felix Mendelssohn. Intresting part of concert were polish elements - pieces of tabulature of Jan of Lublin from XVI century.
Performance received good reviews from audience, wich applauded the artist with standing ovation after concert.
Priest Grzegorz Suchomski after event said:
"Although we have the organ every day, the concert like this shows us how wonderful instrument we posses."
